FEATURES

CUTit Premium Bar and Chain Lubricant is a premium product designed to preserve the life of any chainsaw under the most severe of conditions. Its special formuation prevents rust and corrosion of all parts of bar and chain. Robust additives which increase tackiness reduce the oil consumption by the saw, allowing for less frequent refilling of the oil reservoir. Advanced methods prevent sap and debris from collecting on all vital parts of the bar and chain.

  • Keeps the chain cool by providing excellent lubricity, increasing the longevity of the chain
  • Produced with highly effective additives for lower oil consumption and decreased downtime
  • High tackiness allows the chainsaw to be driven at extreme speeds with minimal sling
  • Prevents clogging from sap and debris
  • Available in all weather and winter formula
  • Made in the U.S.A.

USES

The most important aspect of a bar oil is its "tackiness", or its ability to resist slinging off the end of the chainsaw or other tools. The formula in CUTit produces a highly tacky lubricant that adheres to the surface while reducing wear and stress on metal parts.

  • Pipe Threading
  • Drilling
  • Tapping
  • Threading

Below are the results from a lab test performed using multiple brands of bar and chain oil including CUTit. A chainsaw was lubricated with 12.9 grams of bar and chain oil and then run at a max at maximum rpm for 15 seconds, 1-inch in front of an absorbant drop cloth. The amount of wasted oil was measured and is displayed here:

The Superior anti-sling properties of CUTit can clearly be seen in the above test results.  The amount of wasted chain lubricant is greatly reduced due to tackiness of CUTit. Using other products not only increases the cost of operation, but also discards more oil into the enviornment. The ability for CUTit to combat both of these effects is highly significant and should be considered when purchasing bar and chain lubricant.
